Miley Cyrus took the stage for the first time in months at the Fonda Theater in Hollywood to sing with Israeli DJ Borgore. Miley, who’s dramatically changed in her look, was no country queen. She was a hard rock dominatrix. Miley, 19, surfaced last month as a featured artist in the dubstep artist’s raucous video for his song “Decisions.”
She rocked out in all black low-cut top that revealed her ample cleavage; no bra, of course. Fiance Liam Hemsworth also had a role int he video. He wore a unicorn mask, in one scene, and Miley plants a big kiss on him.
Borgore, aka Asaf Borger, was playing at the Christmas Creampies concert in Hollywood. Miley walked on stage as the DJ fired up Decisions.
Miley has been remaking her image, starting with a radical, short-cropped haircut that appeared even shorter last night. She embellished the look with a black halter top with splits that flashed her cleavage.
She also wore high-waist black tights with thigh-high leopard-print boots and a bondage belly chain that looped around her neck. Miley did the bump and grind with Borger while topless go-go dancers gyrated on stage.

Miley is a very wealthy kid thanks to Hannah Montana so there is no real pressure on her to push herself constantly. The real fear is emotional damage that seems to be part of the package being a very popular child star and thrust into limelight at such an early age. I know I made some snarky remarks about American female artists and their fascination with foreign dudes but Liam Hemsworth seemed like a decent dude. He could provide the shield and the common sense if Miley tries too hard to be at center of public attention. Don't get me wrong. I still want to strangle Miley whenever she opens her mouth and for her dad's crime against music.

These are the twin sisters at the centre of a scandal that saw a police chief in the western autonomous region of Xinjiang sacked.
The removal of Qi Fang as head of the Public Security Bureau in Usu last week came after the nation's new leadership vowed last month to implement tougher anti-graft measures, Xinhua reported, citing an unnamed source from the Tacheng government, which administers Usu.
In an online post on December 3 on news portal Iyaxin.com, Qi was accused of employing the 31-year-old twins at the bureau five months after he was promoted to police chief in June last year. One of the women was made vice-captain of special operations, while the other was made an assistant police officer in the traffic department. It was unclear whether either had any previous work experience with the police.
Married Qi has since denied that he had sex with the twins.
When questioned by the Beijing News he corrected a reporter who addressed him, telling him: "I’m not the bureau chief anymore.”
He also said he was at home with his wife and did not know why he had been sacked.
However, Xinhua released a statement saying: "He was sacked on Saturday, the Tacheng prefecture committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC) announced.
"Qi was accused of abusing power to give jobs to twin sisters he has been keeping as mistresses. The informer’s post and the photo of two scantly-clad girls in bed quickly became a hit before they were removed from iyaxin.com, one of the largest Internet portals in Xinjiang."

Netflix Takes Aim At Premium Cable

Netflix has put the crosshairs on traditional pay-TV channels with a new $300 million per year agreement with Walt Disney Co (DIS). Netflix outbid Starz for the rights to show Disney Movies 8 months after their theater debut starting in 2016. This deal will block competitors such as HBO and Amazon (AMZN) Prime from showing these newly released movies during Netflix’s contracted time.
The deal gives Netflix access to Disney’s large portfolio of video entertainment ranging from standard Disney animated films to movies from studios such as Pixar Animation and Marvel. Meanwhile, within the next few months older Disney classics such as “Alice in Wonderland” will become available to Netflix users along with some straight to DVD movies. It is obvious that Netflix is continuing its trend of spending half its revenue on offering new content in order to attract more subscribers 25 million customer base.
The only downside of the deal is that Starz, who holds the current contract with Disney, will be able to capitalize on blockbusters such as “The Avengers 2” and the new Star Wars movie, which are both planned to be released in 2015 and be available on Starz through 2017. However, starting in 2016 it will be Netflix capitalizing on these studio hits.

Netflix (NFLX): Arguably a bit overvalued right now, this is a stock to keep an eye on over the next few months. Look out for improved earnings as new and better content attracts more users and helps boost Netflix’s top line. The question is if they can overcome these new content costs, but remember, the Internet television phenomenon is still young with lots of upside potential as more people connect their laptops directly to their T.Vs for entertainment.
Netflix Looks a Lot More Like HBO Now
Netflix has just secured a big, juicy contract with Disney that gives the streamer exclusive first-dibs rights to new releases, something none of the biggest Hollywood studios have ever done before. The streaming site will get to show Disney's stuff during what's called a "first pay TV" window, which arrives about seven months after a movie stops running in theaters. The deal also puts some archival movies back on the site, starting right now. That might sound like a long time to wait, but the deal means that Netflix will be the first and only place to watch Disney's new releases — a privilege generally reserved for places like HBO, Starz, and Showtime. Netflix has said before that it wants to be a better version of HBO. This move certainly makes it look like that.The Internet television network has made deals like this before—last year it negotiated a similar agreement with DreamWorks Animation in a move showed content providers saw the web as a more lucrative place to sell their films. That in and of itself should sound kind of like alternate-universe crazy talk, because Internet-plus-Hollywood-plus-make-money don't usually go together. With that in mind, the fact that one of the Big Six studios has now forgone the traditional media guys... well, that definitely legitimizes Netflix a lot further. The burn must especially sting for Starz, which last year pulled its stuff, including Disney movies, from Netflix. Starz has these exclusive rights to Disney film through 2015. The Netflix deal will start in 2016.
Of course, this is all about money. The terms of the deal were not disclosed in Tuesday's announcement, but Netflix must have offered something better than the $20 million per picture in licensing fees the The New York Times's Brooks Barnes says Starz, HBO, and Showtime usually pay. If Netflix wants to continue down this path, it will have to continue paying up, something it might not be able to sustain forever, especially with the internal issues at the company due to its sinking value. But the market does seem to like this recent move, pushing its stock up 14 percent for the day. As they say, you gotta spend money to make money.

‘Queasiness about sex stems from overdose of voyeurism’
Filmmaker Dibakar Banerjee is not too fond of euphemisms. A sex scene, for him, isn't one where the hero and heroine roll on the bed between white sheets as a Vishal-Shekhar-composition plays in the background. It is one where the hero goes to a hospital, finds out he has HIV, yet returns and has sex with his girlfriend. This scene, "which makes you want to know what happened next", perfectly set the tone for a discussion titled 'Sex, Lies aur Dhakka'.
Moderated by social commentator Madhu Jain, panelists Banerjee, director of Love, Sex aur Dhoka, sex counsellor Mahinder Watsa and media personality Pritish Nandy concluded that Indian society's queasiness on the subject of sex and a palpable viewer fatigue resulted from the overdose of voyeurism in the media.
Banerjee, who finds the heightened sexual imagery in advertising disturbing, asked Watsa about pornography. "Every man has his prestige wrapped around his penis," said Watsa, adding many marriages crumble due to the addiction to porn. He spoke of the head of a Marwari joint family, who would confiscate the laptops of his four sons who watched porn on them. "He would keep the laptops in his room after 6pm," said Watsa.
When Madhu Jain asked why Bollywood actors were bad kissers, Banerjee dismissed it as a consequence of nascency. At this point, Nandy decided to bring up the censor board's attitude. "In Chameli, the board wanted us to cut many scenes. They even had a problem with Kareena playing a prostitute," said Nandy, adding the mentality of the board was "if you shut your eyes, everything will go away."
The panel described the relationship among 40-somethings on screen as primarily puppy love. Veteran actor Nasser Abdullah, who was in the audience, asked the panel why films didn't show people his age getting intimate. "Footfalls," answered Banerjee.
But the clincher came when an audience member asked Watsa about the man who kept his sons' laptops in his room. "What happened to his sex life?"

'Fifty Shades of Grey' film: E L James in Los Angeles searching for a director?

Barbie Kavetsky is an avid fan of the Fifty Shades book series. She follows all things Grey to bring her readers informative and tantalizing coverage as the book transforms onto the big screen.E L James, who is working on the film adaptation of her novel "Fifty Shades of Grey," began her visit to Los Angeles on December 2 and fans thought that meant some news on the movie was eminent. Now it appears James may be in town to do some director hunting. On December 8 James tweeted a thank you to Jack Morrissey for a "lovely evening." Many may not know who Jack Morrissey is but they will know his partner, Bill Condon.
Yes, the same Bill Condon who directed both of the "Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn" films. So the question has to be asked if Bill was also at that meeting with James and whether she is considering him to take on the "Fifty Shades" trilogy or possibly just probing him for advice on how to pick the perfect director. Another likely scenario is that James simply wanted to meet someone from the "Twilight" films, considering she is a huge fan.
The good news out of this is that James is still in Los Angeles and hopefully during this extended trip there has been progress made. Fans are impatient and want casting to be done sooner than later. James let her frustration show when she tweeted to one enthusiast, "do you have any idea how long it takes to make a film?" Apparently fans do not realize how long the process can take and continue to hound the author and producers with casting questions.
As a point of reference, "The Hunger Games" film took three years from the right's being purchased to the movie's release in March 2012. Following a similar timeline, "Fifty Shades of Grey" fans can expect a Spring 2015 release date.
'Fifty Shades of Grey' Movie: Is Alexis Bledel Too Old to Play Ana?
by Hope Carson As the Fifty Shades of Grey movie casting drama continues, a curious thing has occurred. Two of the most popular contenders for the roles of Christian and Ana are suddenly being considered too old for the parts. Alexis Bledel may soon join Matt Bomer, a former frontrunner with whom she's been paired in several fan made 50 Shades trailers, on the casting scrap heap with other rejects deemed too long in the tooth to portray E. L. James' kinky co-dependent pair.
On the other hand, some fan sites predict that former Christian Grey frontrunner, Matt Bomer, will be passed over for the titular role because of his age. Bomer, at thirty five, is eight years older than the twenty-seven year old Mr. Grey. And it has been noted that he will be forty by the time the trilogy ends. If he's too old to play Christian, what does that say about the nine-year age difference between the fictional ingenue, Ana, and the actress Alexis Bledel who will be pushing thirty-five at the trilogy's end? Add to that numerical reality the fact that Bomer and Bledel may be viewed as something of a matched set due to their fan-made video pairings. Plus, Hollywood, and the world at large, has a nasty habit of
punishing women for aging far more than it censures males.
So, there you have it. Do you think Alexis Bledel is too old to play Anastasia in Fifty Shades of Grey? If so, who would you prefer?

Anyhow I don't see Bledel in the role of Anastasia Steele. Mostly because of her age and Alexis own reluctance to perform outright nude scenes. But it's hard to read a woman mind - a maelstrom of unpredictability and uncertainty - particularly nudity dodgers. She may well audition seeing this an opportunity to be part of a franchise ($$$) but I think E L James prefers someone much younger. She is very much involved in pre-production process. James want the producers to stick faithfully to her book as much as possible and still acquire a hard-R rating.
But I won't worry too much. MPAA is brutally harsh on indie filmmakers and other small players when it comes to sex and nudity. But they bend over and spread their legs for the big fish @ major studios. Remember James Cameron Titanic? Fifty Shades of Grey is potentially a lucrative money-maker for everyone involved and MPAA will go all out to make sure they don't pissed off Universal Studios. It's easy to ignore Harvey Weinstein. MPAA is very inconsistent in their rating application but pretty consistent in kissing the ass that 'feeds' them. Expect leeways in depiction of frontals and humping stimulation.
